• Grambling State University’s Mass Communication’s Department is sponsoring a forum Tuesday to discuss the N-word, according to The Gramblinite…which uses the N-word quite liberally in its article promoting the event.

• Speaking of Grambling State University, the Dallas-based WFAA profiles a Grand Prairie, Texas woman who twerked when she found out the university accepted her daughter. The Fort Worth Star Telegram, meanwhile, has video.

• Authorities arrested nine members of the now-closed Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity at Louisiana State University on hazing charges. Garrett Joseph Sanders, a 21-year-old student from Minden, was among them, according to the Alabama-based AL.com.

• Why is he scratching? Well, Louisiana has some of the highest rates of sexually transmitted diseases and infections in the United States, according to The Gramblinite.

• People are upset with a Los Angeles mural apparently depicting former Ruston “Mayor” Logan Paul being hanged, according to ThisInsider.com.
